▶️ [1:17] Social media has taken on the role of one of the main tools for public relations and for publicity. And you need social media in order to grow your work. In traditional media in the mainstream to grow your reputation as a thought leader. 
▶️ [2:46] So, social media needs a strategy of sorts, but this isn't the, "let's pull a template off the internet and plug shit", and that's not how we roll. And there are pillars, there are seven of them and I can quickly go through each of them, but I believe all these pillars need to be built out in order to have a strong presence on social media and to really be a thought leader in your industry.
▶️ [5:47] I know in this space, what happens a lot with entrepreneurs is we compare ourselves to others. So, you say other players be aware of them, but do you agree with me that we ought not to compare ourselves to them necessarily be aware of them.
▶️ [7:07] Okay, this is public relations, publicity exposure, what's your publicity strategy. Publicity is getting the attention of the media. Getting your name, and your business, recognized in the media, whether it's someone writing about you or you writing articles on your expert topic.
▶️ [8:53] A lot of people just post and ghost. They schedule their content and disappear. You actually need to be a human or a brand behind the person putting out content comments on other people's.
▶️ [9:54] And that could be something, if you don't like to do it, that's where you need to put some resources into hiring someone. Exactly. Give someone their first job and what if you don't or if you feel like you don't have time, there's always time.
▶️ [10:24] Realistic goals. What does your future look like? So right now I'm going to give you an example. I desire to empower 8 million people by the time I'm 40. Okay. That's one of my goals. How am I going to do that? It's about running courses, free workshops, paid workshops, paid courses, being interviewed on TV shows and radio shows and shows like Sheryl's and writing articles, and being featured in articles.
▶️ [11:50] And I just want to let you guys know. Yes. My business is 13. I've been doing this for 15 years, but over the last year, It's challenging time in my personal life. I've had a lot of loss, meaning I wasn't full in on my business. I was a toe and financially it's been the most fruitful year of my business.
▶️ [13:02] Yeah. Be vulnerable. Be brave. Those two go hand in hand, show up as you don't create the content you think your followers want to see create the content that comes from your heart that you want to put out telling stories is going to bring people in, tell don'ts.
▶️ [14:28] The key is to try it back to how that matters in business. If you're going to be creating that content for marketing purposes.
